Camp Elevate – For Coaches on the Rise

From June 1-4 2017, Athlete Assessments’ Bo Hanson will be presenting three sessions at Camp Elevate – a summer camp for creative, innovative and “people-first” Coaches who are committed to their personal and professional development beyond the X’s and O’s of their sport.

The first session is ‘Get a GRIP of your Pre-Season’ and he shares insights into the processes he takes a team through to ensure they have the best preparation to deliver winning results throughout the season and ultimately when it matters the most at finals time. He also presents a workshop on ‘DISC 101 for Coaches’ with a series of fun and engaging activities to do with your team – this is a practical, hands-on session.

Bo’s session on what it takes to be ‘ATHLETE TOUGH™’ is a practical guide on how coaches can develop resiliency in their athletes, as part of their everyday program. It is based on the premise that mental toughness is not a mythical quality possessed by a select few, but instead that it is a teachable skill. Being ‘ATHLETE TOUGH™’ is defined by the actions you take when your performance matters the most and Bo will share proven strategies to develop athletes to be ‘ATHLETE TOUGH™’.

True North Founder Celia Slater said that camp Elevate would provide a unique learning for Coaches.

Camp Elevate“Camp Elevate is a growing movement of Coaches across ALL sports who believe in the power of collaboration and community,” Celia said.

So who is Camp Elevate for?

The Camp Elevate program is a good fit for:

  • Any head or assistant coach at any level.
  • Any Coach who is serious about making coaching their professional career.
  • Any coach who wants to improve as a manager, leader and communicator.
