Keynote Presentation: Defining Coach Effectiveness
Important Announcement

This page and section of the website is currently being renovated. Please excuse the current state but we have left the information for reference. Contact us if you have any inquiries.

Most coaches would say that they are effective in the context of their coaching role.  But how would you know?  How do you measure your effectiveness as a coach?  As an athlete, measuring effectiveness is easy, so long as you have a stop watch (or the equivalent for the specific sport).  But for coaches who are often too simply measured based on their athletes’ results, there has to be a better way to define and measure coach effectiveness.  And there is.

In this presentation, find out the eight key Coaching Effectiveness areas.   Use this presentation as an unique opportunity to self-evaluate and see where your coaching is at. This experience is hands on and by the end of the presentation you have developed some key strategies to improve your performance and benefit your athletes.

The key learning objectives for the session participants are:

  • Discover what Coaching Effectiveness really look like.
  • Know the eight dimensions that define coaching effectiveness.
  • Develop strategies to improve your coaching.
  • Gain awareness of how others may view your coaching.
